On Nov. 1, 2019, General Services held its 21st annual Custodian Appreciation Day and Custodial Service Awards downtown.
Custodians, Dept. Directors, elected officials and union representatives gathered in the Ronald Deaton Civic Auditorium inside the LAPD headquarters and on the south lawn of City Hall for the appreciation event.
SEIU Local 721 and LIUNA Local 777 sponsored the event and provided the delicious food and prizes. Many awards were presented, including Custodian of the Year, Sr. Custodian of the Year, Custodian Supervisor of the Year, and pins and certificates.
