City Clerk: Roy “Todd” Gaydowski, Records Management Officer in the City Clerk’s Office and noted historian, passed away April 12. He was the longtime head of the Records Management Division, overseeing the City Archives. He was 54 and had 35 years of City service at his death.

Todd was the longtime president of the Los Angeles City Historical Society.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Elizabeth, and children Nicholas, Amanda and Samantha, and his mother, Linda Ledger.

In 2006, Todd and the LA Historical Society presented the Club with a Special Recognition Award.
