LAPD: On April 2, LAPD/Rampart Gang Unit Officer Efrain Moreno took the UCA (United Combat Association) Jr. Light Heavyweight championship in a bout against Chris Romero, California Dept. of State Hospitals/Coalinga.
The title fight, part of the Central California Battle of the Badges, took place at the Visalia Convention Center.
The UCA is a ranking, sanctioning and promotional organization for Public Safety boxing.
Officer Moreno is part of the LAPD’s boxing team.
