Honoring you is why the Club exists. And celebrating the entire span of your career is the highest benefit Club Membership can bestow upon you.

In today’s busy world, it’s crucial to take a moment to celebrate the immense contributions of dedicated individuals. Has your career been honored in a way that truly reflects your incredible service? At the Club, we believe every Member deserves recognition that transcends the ordinary, encapsulating your years of commitment to the City of Los Angeles, the County of Los Angeles, and the State of California.

Enter the Club Retirement Plaque—a distinguished symbol of appreciation that acknowledges your invaluable contributions.

Having attended numerous Retiree ceremonies, I can vouch for the proud. emotional moments they spark. Picture being surrounded by family and friends, reflecting on your impact and achievements: The past blends with the present, filling the room with fulfillment and pride.

This exclusive benefit, reserved for long-term Club Members, exemplifies the significant ways we celebrate our Retirees. It’s not just a plaque; it’s a heartfelt tribute to your extraordinary journey. While non-Club Members have shown interest, the Retirement Plaque remains a special reward for those whose loyalty spans years.

Club Retirees, we are here to honor, thank, and celebrate you. If you’re eligible, we encourage you to sign up for your Retirement Plaque. Let it be a beacon of your achievements, a reminder of the incredible journey you’ve taken. We are proud to be part of your career story. Congratulations!

Hispanic Heritage

How did you celebrate the recent Latino Heritage Month? The City sure did. The Alive! editorial team pulled together some of the City’s highlights, shown on page 8 in this issue.

Hispanic pride is woven deeply and richly into the fabric of the Employees Club, and always has been. As a Mexican immigrant who became an American CEO, I proudly bring you this month’s story. We celebrate together.
