The Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications from high-school and university students for its 2019 World Trade Week Scholarships.
The World Trade Week committee offers scholarships to aspiring students in international trade fields. Scholarships are awarded to outstanding graduating high school seniors entering an accredited college or university with the goal of a career in international trade, as well as college students pursuing international trade degrees.
Scholarships are valued at $500. Application deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019. Winners will be notified by mid-April. Winners must be present at an event May 2 downtown.
