Now They’re Rangers

Congratulations to Ranger Recruits Jalen Woods, Kayleigh Raciak, and Andrew Trejo of LAPD Academy class 02-23 who received their badges June 30.

Badge ceremonies are memorable for recruits as it is the first time their badges are placed on them, typically by family and/or loved ones. The Ranger Recruits were expected to join the Ranger Division at the end of July and start their training programs with Rec and Parks’ Field Training Officers.
