City Attorney/LAPD: On April 4 and throughout the month, personnel from the City Attorney’s Office and the LAPD Mission Area teamed up to help hundreds of students get ready for the prom.

In Prom Closet, the departments provided clothes, accessories, shoes and makeup for high-school students to get ready to attend their proms. Hundreds of prom dresses and tuxedos for the guys were provided to students from 15 LA-area high schools.

This is the 4th year the City Attorney’s office has had this event providing prom wear for young Angelenos. The project was suspended the last two years due to the pandemic.

We say well done to all involved!
