Port takes prestigious prizes at local construction event.

Harbor representatives accept their honors at the awards ceremony.

On June 18. Executive Director Gene Seroka and Deputy Executive Director of Development Dina Aryan-Zahlan joined Port engineers at the Construction Management Association of America Southern California Chapter’s 32nd annual awards gala. The Harbor representatives accepted two prestigious honors from the industry association – Owner of the Year Award and the Project Achievement Award.

The event took place at the Westin Long Beach Hotel.

“The Port of Los Angeles has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation and commitment to excellence in construction management,” the association said. “Their work has had a significant impact on the growth and sustainability of the industry, making them a true leader in the field.”

Harbor’s Project Achievement Award was in recognition of the Pier 400 Corridor Storage Tracks Expansion project.

“Congratulations to the Port of Los Angeles and all involved in their remarkable achievements! This recognition is a testament to their ongoing contributions and dedication to the advancement of the construction management community.”
