A goodbye reception was held last August for Port Police Officer Dong Lee, Club Member, who decided to leave his position to pursue other opportunities.

The reception was held at Ten Mile Brewing in Signal Hill, where friends and family gathered to share stories and wish him well.

Officer Lee left with 19 years of City service. He started his career working for the General Services Police Dept. and transferred to Port Police in 2005. He worked several units during his tenure at the Port Police Dept. including Patrol, Sea Marshal, Detective and finished at Haz-Mat.

Officer Lee’s wife, Sooji, also thanked everyone for coming to wish her husband farewell as he entered the next phase of his career.

Congratulations, Officer Lee, on your new career opportunities. The Club wishes you success!

The Club thanks Lt. Ryan Howley and Officer Fernando Martinez for their assistance in producing this story.
