Lt. Alisha Jordan

Lt. Alisha Jordan, LAPD, graduated from the prestigious FBI National Academy, which provides advanced investigative, management and fitness training to senior Officers who are proven leaders within their organizations.

Lt. Jordan joined the LAPD in 1994 and spent her first 10 years as a Police Officer in the Southwest, North Hollywood and Central Divisions. She continued her career as an undercover Officer and plainclothes investigator.

In 2005, Lt. Jordan was promoted to Senior Lead Officer in Central’s command. She then was promoted to Detective assigned to the 77th Area. In 2007 she was promoted to Detective II in Internal Affairs, followed by the Force Investigation Division. She was promoted to Sergeant in 2011 and served in West LA Division. 

After a number of other assignments, she is now one of the Officers in Charge of the Administrative Teams in the Force Investigation Division.

She earned a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Cal State Long Beach. She also graduated from Sherman Block’s Supervisory Leadership Institute, Principles of Force Science Institute, and the LAPD’s leadership course. She has been awarded the Police Meritorious Service Medal, the Community Policing Medal on two occasions, the Police Star, the Police Meritorious Unit Citation, and the Human Relations Medal.
