Personnel’s Employee Benefits Division held a LIVEwell Wellness Festival June 26 on the City Hall East South Plaza.
LIVEwell is the City’s Wellness Program designed to support employees in achieving healthy lifestyles.
The outdoor event featured a variety of booths and information from City vendors, partners, departments, and subject matter experts such as the American Heart Association. The festival offered a wide assortment of activities designed to familiarize employees with the City’s extensive Wellness Program resources, including: health, dental, vision and blood pressure screenings; chair massages; a fitness challenge; a pet center (dog adoption, volunteering, and pet care); and wellness-themed games, prizes, raffles, and giveaways.
To commemorate the event, the City Council proclaimed June 26 as LIVEwell Wellness Day! Attendance far exceeded expectations with approximately 900 City employees joining in the fun and voicing enthusiastic feedback for the event.
