On Nov. 14, Library closed all 73 libraries so that staff could gather together for the department’s first ever staff development day, held at the Convention Center.
The day included keynote addresses that everyone attended – City Librarian John F. Szabo as well as authors Casey Gerald and Priya Parker – and breakout sessions that covered topics ranging from Library Family Feud to Jumpstart Your Retirement to Chair Yoga. We even had Ghost, the therapy dog, on hand for cuddle breaks throughout the day.
The Club thanks Susan Lendroth, Library, for her assistance.
