Teresa Casas, Executive Secretary, retires after 36 years of City service.

Capt. Arturo Sandoval presents to Teresa a Certificate of Recognition from the Chief of Police for her dedicated service to the LAPD.

Goodbye, Terry.

A retirement event was held at the Northeast Community Police Station in March for Teresa “Terry” Casas, who retired as Secretary for the Commanding Officer of Northeast Community Police Station. She retires with more than 36 years of City service.

Terry began her City service in April 1984 as a Clerk Typist for Building and Safety. She then was promoted to Sr. Clerk Typist, Public Works/Engineering and then to her final position at the LAPD.

She says she enjoyed working in every department and made many great friends along the way. She is proud of having worked for the City of Los Angeles and looks forward to traveling, spending time with family and living each day to the fullest.
