Help Others In 2022

UPDATE: Battling Rare Illness

Last month we told you about Antonice Collins, cousin to Cynthia Billingslea, LADWP, Club Member. Antonice, a high school senior, became partially paralyzed in less than an hour from an unexpected autoimmune disease. She had been in the hospital since late March and missed her high school prom. Update: Antonice has returned home to recuperate and has graduated high school. She hopes to attend college in the fall and still needs financial support.

Cynthia has set up a GoFundMe page for Antonice to help with day-to-day expenses, post-discharge medical care and college expenses.

Club Angels is providing Antonice with funding.

Donations to Club Angels go to City Employees in need; Club Angels and the Employees Club earn nothing from the transaction. Donations to Club Angels might be tax deductible; consult your tax professional. Club Angels is a separate charity begun by Club staff.

How you can help:

  • Donate directly to Antonice’s GoFundMe account – go to (search for Antonice Collins).
