Ted Takes the Title
ITA: A municipal technology news group that focuses on cybersecurity issues has named Ted Ross, General Manager, ITA, Club Member, as one of its City Executives of the Year. The fourth annual LocalSmart Awards program highlights the people and projects making city, county and municipal governments better.
Readers cast more than 750,000 votes through Nov. 11. The 40 winners in 15 states and numerous cities and counties received the most community votes in their categories.
“Los Angeles deserves the best digital services for those who live, work and play here,” Ted Ross said in response. “I am honored to receive a prestigious U.S. City Executive of the Year award, but I know we still have much to deliver in technology tools to improve LA homelessness, crime and housing.”
“As we close out 2022, StateScoop is honored to recognize these dynamic leaders in city, county and municipal government,” said Jake Williams, the vice president of content and community for StateScoop and EdScoop. “From Gallatin County, Montana, to Chicago, to Coral Gables, Florida, technology is playing an increasingly important role in residents’ lives. These leaders are the ones making that happen in an efficient, secure and prominent way.”
The LocalSmart Awards program launched in 2019 and has recognized more than 150 people and projects since its inception.
Congratulations, Ted!
