Firefighter Brian Corntassel passes away at home.
The Club sends its sympathy and condolences to the family, friends and fellow Firefighters of Firefighter III Brian G. Corntassel, an active duty employee who died at home April 4 suddenly and unexpectedly, according to the LAFD.
Corntassel, a Club Member since 2013, served the City for 22 years. His last assignment was at Fire Station 5 in Westchester.
A memorial service was planned for Friday, April 28 at the Cottonwood Church in Los Alamitos.
In lieu of flowers, the department kindly asks those inclined to consider a donation in Firefighter Corntassel’s honor to the nonprofit Widows Orphans and Disabled Firefighter’s Fund.
