“A Universal Shudder,” a series of murals by Eve Fowler on view now at LAX, takes inspiration from the writings of seminal Modernist author Gertrude Stein and the legendary designs of LA’s Colby Poster Printing Company (1946-2012). The installation is in Terminal 2/3’s baggage claim area.

The artwork is part of the continuing Art at LAX exhibition program, as chronicled this year in Alive! The work is presented by Airports and Cultural Affairs.
