The City marked Mexican Independence Day with an El Grito celebration downtown outside City Hall and in Grand Park.
One of the event’s sponsors, Councilman Gil Cedillo, invited Club CEO Robert Larios to join the celebration.
Other event sponsors included the City, the Consulate General of Mexico in Los Angeles, and Comite Mexicano Civico Patriotico.
It marked the 212th anniversary of the Independence of Mexico, and the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month in LA.
