The Cabrillo Aquarium crew said goodbye to Carl Carranza, Aquarium Educator, with a party in late January.
Carl retired from the aquarium after 17 years of City service.
His colleagues wrote: “Cabrillo would like to say final farewells to someone special! We thank Carl for 17 years of friendship, support and love. You are a valued member of the community and have been tremendous spokesperson for the aquarium. We thank everyone that joined us for our retirement party and helped us give Carl the proper send off he deserves! We will miss you sorely and hope that you enjoy retirement!”
