Coinciding with TV’s week of sharks, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium presents its own Shark Week from 2 to 5 p.m. July 16-22 (the aquarium is closed Monday, July 17). Shark Week features special shark crafts and activities each day.

The Exploration Center invites kids of all ages to participate in an exciting shark egg case craft that they can take home. Plus, learn why sharks are so important for our marine eco-system and how we can help protect them from extinction.

The Marine Research Library at the Aquarium will have special shark videos, Shark Week books, and exciting shark word searches and puzzles to solve.

Cabrillo Marine Aquarium Collections will also have a shark specimen display, featuring real shark egg cases, sharkskin and shark jaws.
