Ana for Sustainability
Public Works: Public Works/Street Services has named Ana Tabuena-Ruddy as its new Assistant Director; chief of Urban Forestry, Street Maintenance, and the Investigation and Enforcement Division; and the City’s Chief Sustainability Officer.
She replaces Gregg Spotts, who left the City last year to become the transportation chief for the city of Seattle.
Previously, Ana, a Landscape Architect II, managed StreetsLA’s grants program, raising hundreds of millions of dollars for City initiatives, among other tasks.
