Airports Custodian passes away of COVID

Manuel Castro, 61

The LAX pylons were darkened March 25 to mark the death of Manuel Castro, 61, 14 years of City service, who passed away March 20 from complications of COVID-19, according to Airports.

He began his City career at Airports in 2006.

We regret that we don’t have more information on Manuel’s life and City service. We send our condolences to his family, and may he rest in peace.
