Engineering Honors Training Grads

Public Works’ Bureau of Engineering offers a unique program to train employees on how to successfully complete and deliver complex projects. On Aug. 8, the bureau honored 35 graduates.
Certificates were presented at the Management Team Meeting to the employees who successfully completed the Bureau of Engineering’s Project Delivery Fundamentals Training Program, which includes the following major subject areas:
- Introduction to Project Management
- Project Planning and Pre-Design
- Project Design
- Bid and Award Process
- Construction Management
- Negotiation Skills
- Managing Money
- Scheduling
- Presentations Skills
- Client Relations
The three-month program of weekly classes began March 27 and involved a significant time commitment by all participants. Passing the final exam is required to receive a certificate of completion.
