A reception was held Feb. 1 for PSR III Monica “DLT” De La Torre, who retired from LAPD Communications (911 Operators) after 27 years of City service.
“She has been a source of light to all she has worked with on our Dispatch floor,” the department said. “To the ‘Queen Taco’ – your support, positivity, laughter and notorious Halloween costumes will be missed! Thank you for your service to the City of Los Angeles.”
