On July 19, PSR Gabby Cruz hopped on her bike and rode between the two LAPD emergency communications centers … for a good cause.

Gabby’s efforts raised more than $400 for the department’s annual picnic, planned for the end of July.

Gabby makes her way to the Valley, monitored by Valley Traffic and Air Support.

The 30 miles from Metro dispatch to Valley dispatch took Gabby three hours, 35 minutes. She collected $400 in pledges from approximately 100 PSRs from both centers.
