On Dec. 22, Det. II Michelle Esquivel retired after 31 years of City service.
After being stationed in the 77th and Harbor Division, she retired out of the Commercial Crimes Division.

Sgt. Andy Garcia retires after 31 years of City service.
LAPD Sgt. II Andy Garcia’s motto was, “It’s never too late to change your life.” On Jan. 1, he did just that by retiring after 31 years of City service.
Sgt. Garcia retired as a Police Auditor. Previously he had worked in Internal Affairs, the Complaint Unit, a Field Training Officer, and a Patrol Officer.

Deputy Chief Justin Eisenberg retires after 32 years of City service.
On Dec. 3, Deputy Chief Justin Eisenberg, Commanding Officer of the West Bureau, retired after 32 years of City service.
“I started my journey 30 years ago today,” he wrote Dec. 3. “Commander Cory Palka was a partner and leader of the highest caliber. We were put to the test this year, and he never once faltered! I am now EOW.”

Robin Davis, Sr. Personnel Analyst II, LAPD, retired Nov. 7 after 19 years with the LAPD and 33 years of service with the City of LA. A limited reception was held for the occasion.
