Scholarship Awarded

On Aug. 13, the Los Angeles City Employees Chicano Association (LACECA) held its annual scholarship awards ceremony in the Board of Civil Service Room.
LACECA Director and trustee of the Mexican American Bar Foundation Christopher David Ruiz Cameron presented this year’s award recipient, Daniel Gomez, with a check for $1,500.
“We wish Daniel the best of luck as he pursues a degree in communications at Chapman University,” Cameron said.
Gomez is the son of LACECA Member Lettie Ortiz, Airports, Club Member.
