Uke Can Do It!
Always wanted to play a musical instrument? The Library is now loaning ukuleles and chord books, plus offering lessons at select branches.
With your regular library card, you borrow a kit that includes a ukulele, case, chord book and tuner. You must return them to the circulation desk – no overnight drop-offs. The checkout period is three weeks. One kit allowed per library card.
The program is made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the Library Foundation of Los Angeles, and the California State Library.
