Well done to two Olympians with City heritage!

Amanda Longan, daughter of Capt. II Jon Longan and goalkeeper on the USA women’s water polo team, took home the gold medal – the best in the world – after defeating Spain in the final match and a come-from-behind win against the Russian Olympic Committee team in the semi-final. Nia Toliver, daughter of Nicholas (LADWP) and Sheri Toliver, was a member of the USA Sevens rugby team that placed sixth in the field. |
