Lofoten Islands, Norway

“In the main village of Svolvær. Behind me is a ‘hjell,’ a traditional wooden drying rack for fish, mostly Atlantic cod.”
“The fishing village of Reine is considered the most picturesque in the Lofoten Islands.”
“We saw the northern lights in the village of Leknes, in the middle of the Lofoten Islands.”

Norman T. Faner, Retired, DWP, and Florian Faner, Retired, General Services

“The Lofoten Islands is an archipelago along the west coast of Norway, north of the Arctic Circle. They are known for distinctive scenery of dramatic mountains and peaks, open sea and sheltered bays, beaches and untouched lands. We visited in April and although it’s officially spring, the temperature still hovered around freezing because of their location.”

Arizona

Pablo Ninofranco, Retired, Harbor, and his wife, Josie, visited Sedona, Ariz. Behind them is a red rocks formation.
