Club’s 95th annual meeting celebrates steadfast commitment to serving Members.

Celebrating 95 Years

Association and Club CEO Robert Larios welcomes Members, staff, business partners and special guests to the Club’s annual meeting.

At press time: The Club held its 95th annual meeting Tuesday, Jan. 23 at the California Endowment. With Club Founder and outgoing CEO recently handing the reins of the Los Angeles City Employees Association and its Club subsidiary to Robert Larios, the meeting focused on leadership succession and the Club’s steadfast commitment to honoring and serving Club Members since the association’s founding in 1928.

The meeting, titled “Celebrate!”, also premiered the latest in a series of humorous Club videos. This year’s entry was titled “The Truck Whisperer” and focused on the game-changing Club Truck retail delivery van.

The swearing-in of the Association Board took place in December.

Due to the timing of the annual meeting event so close to Alive!’s publication date, we’re publishing this summary story now and plan to publish a more complete story next month.
