It’s the Guzzlers,
in One for the Ages
Guzzlers defeat Blue Dragons in extra-inning championship thriller.
The 2019 has come to an end in the only way that it should – with a thrilling extra-inning come-from-behind win by the Guzzlers to defeat the Blue Dragons, 14-13.
In the first game, the Blue Dragons defeated Game Time 30-5 to earn their right to play in the championship game. The final two games took place Nov. 13 at the Eagle Rock Rec Center.
An all-star game scheduled for Nov. 20 was postponed due to rain.
All of us at the Employees Club extend our warmest appreciation and thanks to each team manager and players for their efforts to make this the best season since starting the softball league in 2009. We look forward to the 2020 season.
In the meantime, the Club’s Sports Dude, Robert Larios, wishes everyone a wonderful holiday season.
