Leadership Team Adds 2 Executives
With Club and Association Board enthusiastic approval, the Club has promoted two longterm staff to executive leadership positions: Arlene Herrero has been named Chief Business Officer, and Petros Khachatrian has been named Chief Technology Officer. Their new responsibilities began July 1.
“Their new roles are an important step forward for the Los Angeles City Employees Association, our Members, and the government communities we serve across California,” said Association and Club CEO Robert Larios.
Arlene and Petros now join current chief executives Brian Trent, Chief Financial Officer, and Summy Lam, Chief Operating Officer, as executive trusted advisers. Arlene will lead the Association’s business strategy, drive growth opportunities and strategic partnerships, and unite teams to advance the Association’s mission and deliver exceptional value to Members. Petros will guide the Association’s technology vision and modernize systems. He will create innovative digital experiences for Members and staff, will play a key role in streamlining internal systems, using technology to enhance the Member experience, and oversee IT governance, compliance and risk management.

Petros’ Vision
“Even though my focus is on technology, it’s always about the people we serve. I’ll continue to look for ways to make things easier, faster and more meaningful for our Members.
