Norma Larios, Assistant Vice President of Divisional Operations, California State University San Marcos and Club Member, earned her prestigious doctoral degree in philosophy in educational leadership from Texas Tech University School of Education.
With more than 15 years of dedicated service at Cal State, Norma has held a variety of leadership roles, including her current position. Her extensive experience has allowed her to champion innovative programs and advocate for the needs of first-generation and underrepresented college students.
She is the daughter of Mexican immigrant and farm-working parents, Rafael and Carmen, a background that has profoundly influenced her academic interests and lifelong dedication to educational equity. She is the sister of Club CEO Robert Larios.
