Graduations

 

Ces’Ari “Chez” Garcia-Delmuro
graduated from UCLA with a doctorate. (She previously graduated from Bishop Amat High School and Arizona State University.) She plans to teach high school English in the fall. She’s the daughter of Julian Garcia Jr., Public Works/Street Services.


 

Richard Hernandez
graduated from Bishop Mora Salesian High School downtown and plans to attend Azusa Pacific University in the fall, majoring in psychology. He’s the son of Victor Hernandez, Traffic Officer, Transportation.


 

Maya Horvath
graduated from Edgewood High School in West Covina. She has received several awards, including one for outstanding achievement, summa cum laude; one for outstanding achievement in math; one in biliteracy; and one California Senate Certificate of Recognition for 2018-19 as a National Merit Scholar Nominee, ink-signed by Susan Rubio. Maya has also been awarded the California Golden State Seal as well as a wooden wall plaque for Outstanding Achievement in World Languages. Maya plans to continue her studies in agricultural engineering at the University of Kentucky in the fall.She is the daughter of Adriana and Robert Horvath, Retired Mechanic, Public Works/Sanitation/Hyperion.
